Respect for Intellectual Property Rights

At First Kathmandu, we respect the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe that your copyrighted work has been used in a manner that constitutes copyright infringement, you may notify our designated agent by providing the following information:

  1. Identification of the Work: Clearly identify the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed. If your claim involves multiple works on our site, you may provide a representative list.
  2. Identification of the Infringing Material: Specify the material you believe to be infringing, including details about its location on our site, so our copyright agent can easily locate it.
  3. Your Contact Information: Provide your address, telephone number, and, if available, your email address. This will allow our copyright agent to contact you regarding your complaint.
  4. Signed Statement: Submit a signed statement confirming the accuracy of the information you have provided. This statement should also affirm your good faith belief that the material in question is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law. Additionally, under penalty of perjury, you must declare that you are the copyright owner or have the authority to act on their behalf.

Upon receipt of this information, we will act promptly to remove or disable access to the infringing material. Please note that there are significant penalties for making false claims.

Counter Notification

If you believe that a notice of copyright infringement has been wrongly filed against you, you may submit a counter notification to our agent. A valid counter notification should include the following:

  1. Signature: A physical or electronic signature of the individual who posted the material.
  2. Identification of the Removed Material: Identify the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled, along with its location on our site prior to removal or disablement.
  3. Good Faith Statement: A statement made under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled due to a mistake or misidentification.
  4. Contact Information and Jurisdiction: Provide your name, address, and telephone number. Additionally, include a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal district court in your area, or if you are outside of the U.S., to any jurisdiction in which our service provider may be found. You must also agree to accept service of process from the complainant.
