After the grand success in New York, USA and Sydney, Australia "Nepal Property Expo 2009" held in Kathmandu, Nepal. Nepal Property Expo Kathmandu 2009 was the first of its kind expo which provided an exciting unprecedented platform for interested Nepali Entrepreneurs, both from Nepal and abroad to expand the boundaries of their investment portfolio. Nepal Property Expo 2009 demonstrated the best investment opportunity available in various sectors in Nepalese market.
The expo provided platform to integrate the largest number of real estate developers, real estate agents, bank & financial institutions, insurance companies and service providers along with elaborated details of their organizations and services.
With the main stakeholders of the investment and property sector in Nepal under one roof, the expo's created a one window guide to investment in Nepal, where an investor not only found the best investment opportunity but also the best financial supporter for the investment.
The Bhainsepati-based flats offered by Guna Colony at the rate of Rs 1.3 to 1.8 million was the prime attraction of the event. Amongst the total of 51 exhibitors participating, three stalls were awarded 'most outstanding' on the last day of the expo. The winners were selected on the basis of voting by the observers and the prize of airlines tickets for Pokhara was awarded to each winning stall.
The other collaborators of the expo viewed that the expo has enabled the people to opt for the best available real estate options apart from helping other construction related sectors in the country grow at a healthy clip.
Total of 55,000 people visited the expo, which witnessed bookings worth over Rs 5 billion.
First Kathmandu Pvt. Ltd. organized a two-day Nepal property Expo, Sydney '09 at at the Sydney Showground, Olympic Park on 20 june 2009. The event was inaugurated by H.E. Mr. Yogendra Dhakal (Ambassador of Nepal). The local organizer was Newa Enterprises, Sydney, Australia and Guna Colony, the associate partner for the event.
The visitors, which comprised a majority of Nepalis were pleased to see this type of first property exhibition in Sydney, Australia. They were pleased to get taste home-savoring Nepali food, listening to Ram Krishna Dhakal performing LIVe and strolling through the stalls featuring 15 companies (13 from Nepal and 2 from sydney) like Guna Colony, Oriental Colony, Central Park, Varun Developers (Park Views Horizons) IME (International Money Express), Karmacharya Awas, Guna Saving & Credit, Newa Enterprises,Kathmandu, Auburn Bazaar, Sydney and NIRVANA, Sydney. Visitors were pleased to know firthand the achievements in term of real estate, made back home. Entrance was free during the expo.

Nepal Property Expo 2008- from December 27 to 28, 2008- was organised in New York, USA by First Kathmandu with the joint effort of Himalayan Herbal Garden Inc, America and Guna Colony. Houses with a value of Rs 25 lakh to flats costing Rs 16.5 million were kept in the exhibition for sale. The bookings were beyond expectations and the response was overwhelming.
